I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of Southern California in 1983. I earned my L.C.S.W. in 1985, and became a Board Certified Diplomate in Social Work in 1989. I have written in my field, and have been an invited guest speaker here in the United States and abroad. In 1994, I wrote a parenting column for The Crayon Report, a Southern California publication for and about parents.
I have been in private practice for over twenty years. I have trained in cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, intersubjective, humanistic and family systems traditions, tailoring my approach to the unique needs of my clients. I have also trained in organizational development, and for the past fifteen years, I have been a clinical consultant to numerous businesses, including Fortune 500 companies.
My practice offers a healing glimpse into the gifts and lessons of adversity, as well as a pathway to peace and joy in every facet of life. It remains my tireless commitment to help bring more compassion, productivity and exuberance into the workplaces and lives of those I serve.
I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
